Our Story

Luke Miller, owner and operator of Alaska Bear View and Fly907, grew up exploring the rivers, mountains, and wilderness of Alaska at his family’s fishing lodge. At just 14, Luke began flying with his father and earned his commercial pilot’s license by the age of 19.

His love for Alaska’s untamed beauty and passion for aviation led him to create a company that shares these experiences with others.

Today, we operate out of the Lake Hood Seaplane Base in Anchorage, offering daily bear-viewing trips to some of the most spectacular places on earth: Lake Clark National Park and Katmai National Park. On clear days, our flights feature stunning views of glaciers, volcanoes, and even beluga whales in Cook Inlet.

Bear Viewing Safety

Our #1 Concern

At Alaska Bear View, your safety is our top priority. We maintain a well-inspected fleet of aircraft, ensuring each trip is conducted with the highest safety standards.

In bear country, your guide will provide clear instructions and follow safe wildlife practices, allowing you to appreciate these majestic animals responsibly. By prioritizing safety, we ensure that every trip is as awe-inspiring as it is secure.
